Recruitment Coordinator


The Recruitment Coordinator manages the staff recruiting processes for clinical, administrative and marketing staff hiring needs for the agency through oversight of advertisement, sourcing, pre-interview screening, interview scheduling, background checks and referrals to provide on-time placement of personnel. The Recruitment Coordinator also assists in certain aspects of the new employee orientation process.


Scope & Objectives:

To apply knowledge and experience of the recruitment process in order to assess the appropriateness of applicants which includes professional qualifications, acceptable licensure, related experience and cultural fit within the agency.  Works with the Human Resources team to provide on time hires for all agency hiring needs and subsequent orientation of new employees.



  1. At least one (1) year of previous experience as an in-house recruiting agent for a company of at least 100 employees, healthcare industry preferred.  New Grads welcome to apply.
  2. Bachelor's Degree
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Excellent time management effectiveness.

Reports to:  Director of Human Resources


Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory duties.


Physical Demand: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary and the employee must occasionally life office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.


Travel:  This position has no travel requirement.


Tasks/Duties & Job Responsibilities

  1. Weekly and as needed communication with managers and agency leaders regarding current hiring needs for both clinical and administrative positions for the agency.
  2. Management of all advertisements, internal and external, of all positions needed.
  3. Maintenance and utilization of the agency's applicant tracking system(s).
  4. Reviewing of applicants.
  5. Phone screening of qualified applicant.
  6. Confirmation of DORA licensure and OIG checks.
  7. Interview scheduling, initial and follow up as necessary.
  8. Interview preparation download and printing of applications, resumes, Selective Hiring Assessment reports, etc.
  9. Weekly written reporting on hiring progress, outreach and outcomes.
  10. Utilization of LinkedIn.com Recruiter lite for outreach.
  11. Utilization of Indeed.com and other advertising methods.
  12. Submission of documentation to HR Compensation Manager for offers.
  13. Conducting necessary background checks with ATS tools and CBI website.
  14. Working with HR team and clinical trainers to onboard new employees.
  15. Other duties as assigned.
